Day 1: Say hello to Sri Lanka!! (Long Version, if u dont feel bored reading)

How I get there?
I go there by plane la?Duh~!! wakaka I got there by Sri Lankan
Airlines.. Quite ok.. but MAS is betterla.. but this airlines is
still better than United Airline(an American air)

How long to get there?
3 hours

Exchange rate?
25 rupee- RM1

Mission?
To have kathina (a ceremony held every year for us to offer robes
[or can be something else] to the monks), meditation and visit
Buddhist historical places?
Specialty: Ceylon Tea, King Coconut, their road drivers are really
skillful on the road, wakaka especially our bus driver, explain it
to u why later and the bus driver honk like every 10 minutes, they
have tuk tuk (like the one in Thailand) tht was imported from India,
good food!! (in hotels la others dunno) hahahaha, yogurt, they had
the best yogurt I ever taste?(but I forget the brand liao la) ,
bakery, they have a lot of bakery shops in one street, and yea their bread are superb, delicious!! they also have really delicious rice....

How many of us went?
About 30 of us.. my mom, and lings mom

Got up at 4am to catch 7am flight, suppose to go vegetarian (vege)
but mistakenly go and buy the asam laksa in food court. Then hop on
the plane.. manage to catch up some sleep, the in flight
entertainment is not bad—they have devil wears prada, the break up,
cars,etc. and the cool thing was that it has camera in front of the
plane and the bottom plane, so u can see outside of the plane view..
very nice!! wakakak paiseh i look sua pa and retard about this...
Anyways finally we reach Colombo- Capitol of commerce of Sri
Lanka..

A coach bus pick us up to Kandy. we catch up our lunch somewhere in a hotel, the view in the hotel was beautiful the hotel has really niceeeee beach view.. haha and also in front of the hotel there is a mini tesco nearby…. Hahah I didn’t take a pic of it though.. Kandy is here the last kingdom of sri lanka ends… At Kandy it was the holiest Buddhist place in the world because there is where the Buddha’s tooth relic was. Buddha’s tooth relic is brought out in the temple to show to the public in every 4 years. Unfortunately if we want to see the tooth relic we need to wait till year 2008 comes… The king usually keeps the Buddha relic that’s why the tooth relic ended there…Our hotel is up the hill.. so it takes 4 hours to get to Kandy. On our way there we manage to make a stop to get a Ceylon tea and Bhante all of us yougurt.. (yum!) And also on the way there I saw a familiar golden arch… its like McD at 1st I was pretty excited but later I jz realize the golden arch wasn’t McD. It’s a bakery stall.. haha its quite funny so I quickly take down a pic of it… Their college/ schools are really in poor condition, is much worse than ours here.. so its pretty sad to see such sight…we finally reach Kandy and we have to stop to change out buses to smaller bus because our hotel is up the hill…

Wow… here we are in the mini bus… its like rollercoaster and its thrilling … ahhh its oso like the OSIM cowboy machine thingy… although it’s a bus the driver can drive it as if it’s a mini kancil.. hahah… anyway here u can see the bus driver’s skill… imagine a road up the hill only for a vehicle to go and its really narrow. But there’s 2 buses coming in a diff direction, amazingly the bus drivers still manages to go on safely both passengers and their vehicle… One of the aunty was saying this drivers was train to drive for intial D, etc. The hill road we can see shops and house around. Some shops still using candle to lit their shop at night, electricity seems to be really expensive there.

Abt 20min. we finaaly reach AMALAYA HILLS RESORT.. woohooo the view was really nice… All of us hurrily get into our rooms… and know the room is nice too. Have flat screen tv and a digital weighing machine tht’s not accurate…we take a bath and get down because we are heading to the temple where the buddha’s relic was placed. Bhante said its better to go today orelse the nxt day might don’t get a chance because tmr is Kathina day…

So we get down the hill and into the coach bus again. The travel guide explain to us about the temple.. there are 2 security checks in the temple.. this is due to the terrorist once trying to bomb the temple because prince charles visit or something not sure therefore they have tight security now.. Shoes/slippers are not allowed, no shorts or sleeveless… The security check point is really scary I must say… the policewoman will really touch u like even…. So like u feel tht u get molested.. -_-“
The bombers did get to bomb a small part of it but not at all at the chamber where the relics was placed.. amazing isn’t it? Although the main chamber is only made of honey, paper and one more thing can’t remember…

Anyways many parts of the temple were made of gold… its really amazing how those days ppl can do such stuff.. The chamber where the relic was placed, in front everyday they will play instrument. The relic were offered 32 kinds of dishes I think everyday but for breakfast and lunch only la… my aunt said try to keep my mind clear when I stepped in the temple.. wa so scary wan I keep trying to tell my self to keep mind clear.. but as I stepped in there my mind was automatically cleared.. there’s nothing in my mind.. the chamber was amazingly created, the details and art on it is like… whoa!!! We went in, the Buddha relic is upstairs, we went upstairs and offer some jasmine flower to the relic… the relic was inside I can remember 7/9 layers of gold pagoda…. And there are gems and gold around the pagoda.

Then we come out, go other places and make jasmine offering to other Buddha statue...
We went to the main hall (I think), we were given privilege to meditate there for a while. The main hall were separated one is where we meditate in front of a big golden Buddha (not really big but still… ) another part is a lot of Buddha statue (I think were given by diff countries) and on top of the Buddha statue there’s story about the Buddha. After we meditate we get back to the hotel and makan then tidur…. Tht’s the end for the day 1…

Note: About makan I no need tell u how was it because all the food were sooooo good!!!

This weekend is partly one of my best weekends ever...
Ili came down to KLang, then the next day we had our AFS-YES alumni meeting...
Most of us met coincidently in KL Sentral, it feels like few months back went we travel back together from US... Haha credits to Nambee, he made some much silly jokes... All of us was waiting for each other till we are late for the meeting..
Even more coincident that day is leng lui SHEENA's birthday... HAPPY 18th BIRTHDAY SHEENA!!!
After the meeting all of us went and makan at a nearby mamak coz all of us wanna save cost and its raining heavily (we need to walk a little distance to take a cab)
Half of the day all of us spend together is fun and great.. (too bad others couldn't come, orelse it would be even better)
Some of us depart their own ways later on, and some of us decided to go midvalley..
its so funny that all of us wanted to be in midvalley, but when we were there we were like lost not knowing what to do, then we decided to watch a movie(waaa din know midvalley ticket cost so much) We watched super ex gf... quite funnyla.. to me its a ok ok show...
Eeee, so sad to leave them.. we're so like a family.. ahh miss those days...

College so far so good now...
Get to meet new people and stuff though travelling is a waste of time though...
i need to wake up at 545 to catch 650sm train... this days really 10pm is the time i get back to my slumberland...

Oh ya important thing!!!
I need donations for clothes, toiletries, blankets, dry food stuff, mineral water,etc. its for the people in Lebanon,they're in war now so the ppl need these supplies to live on. our YES org decided to collect all these and send it to them.. i'll talk about it more later when i planned out everything.. but please give some suppport, no enforcement on it just do it on your own will, please help them if you could, a little contribution means a lot! =)

My name is Yah Tyng Ng and I am an exchange student in Athol representing Malaysia given an opportunity and sponsored by the U.S Department of State Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs- YES program and organized by PAX/AFS Malaysia. I arrived in Athol on January 13, 2006. I could still remember the day I arrived to this town, it seems it just happened yesterday, but no, I am wrong, time flies by so fast and now I returned to my home country safely. It's been a truly great experience and honor to be an exchange student here. Many things I had learned and understood during my stay here that's really priceless.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank my host family (Pettit family) - host mum, Sanie, Sam, Rebecca, Alicia (and family), Russ (and family) for the love, care, and accepted me as a family member. I am really grateful for your host and generosity.

Thank you to everyone in Athol High School- Mr. Strong, Mr. Chiasson, Mrs. Brighenti, Mrs. Roberts, Mrs. Miller, Mrs. Caisse, Mrs. Williams, for allowing my placement in Athol High School to happen, Mrs. Hawkins, Mrs. McClure, Mrs. O'Malley, Mr. Williams, for taking all the effort to guide me, answering my endless questions, and I'm really glad and had fun attending your classes. Also not to forget, thank you Athol High students and other teachers that I failed to mention. Thank you Athol High School for giving me a chance to experience graduation ceremony, visit New York City and be an American student. I would not forget the wonderful memories that all of you had created for me.

There's no right or wrong being a different person with different race, culture, religion and nationality because it's just different, like AFS Malaysia's saying, ' No right or wrong one, just different-lah'(one and lah, is a Malay suffix usually added in Malaysian's English while conversing to emphasize the word). I believe understanding and respect between human races would bond all human races around the world together despite the difference. I had reached the understanding and respect towards United States (and also other countries), now there's another bond between Malaysia and United States (and also other countries), I hoped the bond would not just end here nor in me, and it would continue remained stronger and better than before.

Ah so lazy to blog this days. I have many things to blog about but I'm just lazy.
I don't know what course to study right now and I find that some of my family members were thinkin I'm unrealistic. All these while I thought all of them were supporting me but now at this moment i think its the other way round. Yea I realize that my aim were so high it seems it would be really impposible for me to attain it. But in the other hand, if I did not aim at all will my dreams would have any chances to be attain? I don't think so. So why not I put an aim at least try to achieve it. Yea, people who had eaten salted knows what the best, yea things wouldnt come my way, but can't i just work on something i wanted? is it wrong? Yea I know I'm stubborn but I just cant let my dreams slip away from my hands. I would not like to spend my another part of my life working on something I'm not interested in. Yea most of you think the changes in me werent that good because i'm to exposed, but hey if i dont use what i had learned so whats the uses me going through all these, it would be a waste.
I really dont know what I can do, but work hard and pray that what I really hope all these while I could attain it someday....

Argh~~ I miss Dbsg's concert last Friday. A lttle regret right now..

WE ARE EXCHANGE STUDENTS So much is said about being an exchange student, but only when you experience it. Things make sense. It is definitely not easy and whether you want it or not, you'll end up changing and growing. Once your exchange is done YOU finally realize that you can handle way more than you could and would ever imagine. You need to appreciate things you have because they might be gone sooner than you think. Life is not easy. True friendships are really forever.

The best part about being an exchange student is not
about the parties or places you get to go. Not the
independence and life experience, but the
friendships. I'm not talking about the friends
you made from your host country but about the other
exchange-student friends. For most of us, they were
the very first "friends" we had in this new
experience. We met them in orientation meetings or trips, etc. They were the
first people we actually talk to without having the
fear of speaking in a different language. No matter
what, there's a big difference between "host
country friends" and "exchange student friends".
Exchange students have a special bond. Despite
language and cultural differences, you'll
understand one another because you experience similar situations.

The hardest part of facing the end of your exchange
year is to accept the fact that it's gonna
take a while until you have the chance to travel the
world to see your exchange friends again. Because
once you leave your host country, deep down inside,
you know that sooner or later you'll be back,
but when are you going to have enough money and time
to travel the world again???

Some of us became friends because we were placed in
the same schools, lived in the town nearby each
other. Others we met along the year, during trips
and meetings... The trips... first day nobody knows
each other, everyone is shy... By the end of the
trip everybody knows everybody and says good bye in
the last day is as sad as when we left our friends
and family in our home countries... How many
lifetime friendships and romances started with: "How
can I say this in your language?" It's hard to
believe that so much can start from such a simple
sentence!

Does this story sound familiar to you??? Just wait,
it gets worse... The very first trip, when it is
time to leave is not so terrible because you have
the whole year ahead of you, so the chances of
meeting everyone again are very big. Time goes by
and your year is slowly getting to an end. You have
your last trip... Probably it will be the very last
time you'll see most of your exchange friends
for "God-knows-how-many-years"... this feeling is
just horrible!!! It's when you wish things
would never end. When you wish you could turn back
time and do everything again, and maybe do what you
want but never had the guts to, like kissing that
girl/boy or spending more time with A, B and C...
And there you are, saying good-bye, fighting the
tears and making promises to people that you could
never imagine you would meet in your life...

Unfortunately, things don't always work as we
want and not that everything is possible... Once
your year is done, it is when you realize who you
will ALWAYS miss the most. Your exchange friends
spread all over the world. And one day you're
gonna be at a Geography or history class and as some
countries are mentioned, you'll think about
your friends that are half way around the world away
from you, and you'll have to fight the tears
again... Their occasional letters, phone calls and
emails are going to be of unbelievable value and
will bring joy to your bad day/week. And this is
what this email is about. Most of us never thanked
these friends? And never said how much they mean to
us.

So here it is 'THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU? You
are all wonderful, special and unique, and
I've been made a better person just by knowing
you. You've made my year unforgettable. And I
don't think I'll ever forget the time we
spent together! Hopefully we will meet again
someday! Doesn't matter how many miles keep us

i dun know why everytime i think my host family weren't fond of me, but later they talk and laugh with me.... just felt weird...
most of the people i met online i told them i'm bored here, but later i think back hmm it's not so boring after all, i had books to read, things to knit, things to take care off, football team to cheer for, weights to shed, stuff to pack, Six flags to look forward too... yea its not so boring after all.. so i would like to take back my words that i am bored here... mayb i feeled bored because i had not gone to the mall since i had rush to get my prom stuff, ever since that i din go to the mall... in fact wanna go Walmart oso susah, when i get to step in Walmart i only get 20-30min there, wanna buy souvenir, games and tide to go oso tak sempat, only manage to grab 12pounds of chocolate... hai~~~~ hopefully i get to make another trip there before i head to back la...
i hope all my stuff no overweight la, as i broke liao...

anyway there's this guy he added me in msn, he's sitting SPM this year,
just like me last year desprately wants to get this scholarship YES, so he taruh lots of questions on me, i felt a little annoyed about it... he's a muslim though, he said if he's here he would only eat HALAL food, or go vegetarian. I got really annoyed about it and told him frankly i don't think he would survive here and other muslim exchange students just eat what their host family ate as long as they don't eat pork... he replied wtf (i was pretty stunned.. not my fault ma, wanna curse curse somewhere la don't curse in front of me) he said are they my friends (muslim ex.).. i was laughing at the screen.. and i replied him, "oh no, they are my enemies.." (duh of coz they are my friends!!) , later i tell him i jz joking, of coz they are my friends, and AFS Malaysia do send muslim students there, it would be really funny if no muslim representing Malaysia.. he tought AFS only choose non-muslim... hai~~~ he really not prepared about being AFS's exchange student... he kept asking me to reveal interview questions, i think it wouldn't be fair if i reveal it to him because others applicants are also as desperate as him.. so i just give him the same piece of advice like other AFS returnees, just be yourself.... anyway i just told him nice to meet u (not reli sure i am that time, but still yea)

some people met me online were so creative in so many ways to tell me how fat i am now... For instance, (for their creativeness *claps claps*)

haha yea i look on the mirror 2 days ago, and see oh no my face is even more bulat than before when Daniel oppa usually tease me, how to reduce weight, so fat until like that, with this frustration it made me take my lazy ass out and jog/walk around for 30min, waaa sweat coming out... so happy... then i tot my host mom no cook so ciak sendiri, i go makan a few stuff for dinner... around 9 somethin, Sanie tapau McD balik... *smacks head* my effort for today all flushed down liao.. so boliao la.. thinking of joggin today but heavy rain... hai~~

btw korea's recent match with France is 1-1... so proud of Korea, i was so scared that Korea lost but they shot a goal in the 2nd half, i was cheering, didn't realize my host mom is just around and she laughed at me... yea i was name the football girl now, because i am the only one watching World Cup.... but Japan tied with Crotia... the goalkeeper did a good job stopping the goal from a penalty kick/free kick haha dunno wat is called.. a bit disappointed they din score, luckily thing din watch this match...
hahah yea i typed a letter to the Athol Daily News editor, i'm pretty happy with the stuff i worte hopefully i could post it sometime lo... hahah...

Firstly, dear mushiseyo --- thanks for calling me evil hor.... pretty much thank u... herm... *gave mushiseyo weird stare/unhappy look* and thanks for the picture without panda eyes (*sacarsticly)....

Friday:
Class Day- pretty interesting, emotional day, good for remembering happy memories..
wow didn't know Class 2006 remember's the exchange students....
lisa so nice she gave presents and we (host sis's and lisa) went subway for lunch

everyone look pretty, guys quite yeng....
prom pretty fun though i hate my hair do... seriously i think i can do much better by myself then paying USD 30 for it.. makes my face looks more like a full moon (like how my bro always teases me).... Laura was really nice to give me a ride there, since no one is bringing me there.... dance mostly all the time just like our prom last year... (remember girls, we had a blast at prom last year) No date, but Nick is nice enough to leave his date a while to dance with me...

after that we went to after prom party... o my god u can't believe the money they forked out for the after prom party, so many food--- subways, pizza, popcorn, sundae, cookie, chips, lots more--- no acohol of course.... we had casino's there (haha pretty strange it seems like they encourage teens to gamble), i play blackjack hoping to lose off my money and ili's but keep wining though i bet on more than $1000, btw fake money a.k.a monopoly kinda, then they have the japanese dancing machine--- u can dance unlimitedly, hahaha i dance a lot of times there since msia so expensive, then they had a few diff gamble games, a few machine games and the battle thingy dunno how to explain la.. then they have palm reading--- i took up a long time of that lady hahah.... most of this activity was sponsored and volunteered by parents... wow parents were so dedicated.... then at 4am they had lucky draw, i got USB drive 512mb.. geez i wish i was earlier then i can either get ipod or camera.. but i'm happy with it anyways... so funny all 4 asians got the lucky draw thingy.... hhaha
there are other prizes like dvd player, radio, mini fridge, comforter set, comfy chair, metal detector, gift card, tv... hahah
it end at 5am, then gossip on someone while waiting for ili's host dad.. haha Ili this is one of out remember when...

Saturday:
when reach home surprisingly heard cat's meow, struck my mind it's Emily..
so i called out for Emily.. but she never appear so i went in, just before i shut the door Emily was there at the doorstep, she was wet and limping one foot hurt, i had not seen her since last week... me, Sam and h.mum pretty worry about her since we found out Jefferson's death(ya so sad he died.... its a secret from Sanie we decided to tell her after graduation next day) and Emily was lost.. so anyways... so i let her in pet her, she was eating... its 5 somethin so don't wanna disturb my host family so i just leave a note to Sam, but the note dropped, so she never saw the note i left when she woked up... i (in state of not feeling well) told her abt emily, they went searching emily around the house for like 15 minutes or so... i can not stand myself just laying on the bed not helping them, i get my butt down from the bed and search Emily, as soon as i get down stairs turn my head towards the dining hall, ta-dah... Emily is just right in front of me...
and they bring them to Ally (their sis who's a vet helper)... luckily thing she was alright wasn't as bad as Jefferson...
Its pretty sad to see Jefferson died especially just before class day/prom... he is such a handsome cat... I love him.... didn't think he ended his life like this.... so wounded... my host mum belief this cats were attacked but not sure by what...

i was sick the day before graduation... so sick can't even do anything....
so sad.... luckily think before what omma told me to do when i was i sick i should put on ice packs... makan some pannadol, put some cap kapak minyak, some refresh (lim family fav ubat), some po ji yuan...... sleep for 18 hours... then next day on graduation ta---dah felt much better thought still got dizzy-ness.....

anyway graduation today ok ok
had a lot of food filled in me- many pictures taken but didnt manage to take pictures with lisa and ili.....
sanie is now goin parties around me here typing my blog...
ashley came by earlier and she was nice to invite me to hang out in someone's party that i don't even know....

pretty long post... i'm gonna post pics as soon as i get my pics loaded up....
anyway i don't know why my eyes got terrible panda loops (probably cursed for saying mushiseyo the other day) on graduation and prom....

I MADE A PRESENTATION ABT MALAYSIA!!!
So happy and proud of myself...
My presentation seems to be getting better dy, not that much mr. gagaps....
Anyway i had a lot of fun, telling them msian culture..
and 5S2 er's i used our class pic, and ask them to find me... hahah they couldn't at first..
i gave out flags and things like that..
Kelvin is so funny on my way back form lunch and he's on the way to lunch...
he waving msian flag and show other people and said "hey look it's Malaysian flag" a couple of times... hahaha...
it's definately worth it preparing this presentation...
This few days i been hesitating whether to wear baju kurung to school a not,
i was pretty afraid being criticize by people...
then after thinking a while, why i should be afraid about it??? i should be proud of it....
anyway many people praised the beauty of baju kurung makes me feel no regrets at all wearing it.... =)
mom's package arrived yesterday...
there's muruku and coconut cookies in it... yum..... many people taste it, many prefer the coconut cookies...
i'm trying to buy SG Wannabe and fly to the sky albums through Yes Asia...
hopefully it works...
tomorrow i think we have graduation thingy... Friday Memorial Day assembly (memorial day is monday-no school!!) next Tuesday and Wednesday will be my finals, Friday is Class Day and prom then Sunday is Graduation!!!
i bought my graduation outfit liao but not yet buy my prom shoes.... the shoes here bo sui wan, malaysia much better... haha anyway i went to the mall the other day manage to buy really nice cucuk saggul.. hehe!!

Oh my god...
Saying goodbye is the hardest thing i can do..
On Monday, its the last day for Diana at school...
can't believe i can't hold back my tears, indeed farewell is the hardest thing in my life now...
i really can't believe farewell is one of my biggest fear...

haha yay~~!! i finally learned how to knit... thanks to my host sis-Sanie!!
oh ya, xin my host sis said u are awesome for liking Red Sox and for encouraging me to apply this program...
Sanie thinks i'm weird, she laugh at me because i bought fat free 94% popcorn, lightly salted chips... she said tyng u're so weird..... hahaha.... anyway kinda glad she teased me...
last friday, we went to Quabbin resevoir and drenched in the rain, pretty fun though but really freezing cold, clothes soaked wet... i bought really good fries and grilled sandwhich... haha Mr Williams my environmental studies teacher ask me and Ili,"do they sell french fries in malaysia" haha because both of bought really large fries...

13 days left for school and 48 days left in US... pretty excited to go back Malaysia because new cousin was born 4-5 days ago, and its a girl!!!! yay~!!!

F6 is starting soon, people who enrolling F6 hope u had a good year there and all the best lo... aiya, i always wanted to go F6 orientation but I guess I couldn't, so help me have fun in the orientation and tell me lo wats it is like the orientation there...

This Saturday I cooking nasi lemak and onde-onde dunno boleh makan a not wan, hahaah, hopefully it is successful la, (hope nobody lau sai after eating) hahaha.... A friend of mine from Ukraine is going back soon next Tuesday, hai so mm seh tak her la... Gonna miss her so much and i'm going to present a presentation on Malaysia next Tuesday in school, hopefully everything goes well, no cacated language, or silly things happend...

haha oh ya my school quite canggih wan knoe, me and ili been talking about it these days... Last week, we pass by a reallllly old door, the door seems to shut itself automatically.. So i tell Ili, " Walaueh itu pintu begitu tua auto lagi o", then our principle shouting get out get out, we dunno what happend but just follow everyone... Outside drizzling and cold somemore.. Today we had field trip in Harvard Forest...
So excited because had the same name with Harvard Uni... hahah
Harvard Forest is not exactly near no Harvard Uni, its just 10 minutes bus ride from my school.. We go for hiking there, took lots of picture, had pretty much fun there though..
i'll post up some pics as soon as i got the pics..

Pretty tired, i guess i shed a few grams while hiking, hahah.....

Next week we will be going to another forest for field trip... heheh...

this Sunday we will be having political meeting with Massachusetts Rep (not really sure, but is a politician) in Tea House (Chinese Restaurant in Orange).. pretty excited abt it too..

Finished the last paper today, accounts paper 1....
after the paper chat a while wit cousins and friends...
hmm yuan hooi leaving on wednesday... i won't be seeing him 7months... *sob sob*
then went for lunch/tea-time/dinner er dunno wat its called.... can't get parking place for Le Park (my fav place for yee mee) ...fetch beh kia back(poor girl didn't eat anything in the end) then after that we eat at southern park....
i had porridge(er... did i need to tell wat i had?? bah!!!) then chat.....
sis take us back home.. (haha thanks for the ride sis!! ^^) take sis(chin pey) a little tour around our hainanese village.... haha after that me and ling went to the playground... make fun of may yun's cousin with alvin (haha... in the end her cousin got angry with us)...went back play wit the bunny a while.. wait ling take a bath, go for steamboat wit sharmane, yee wun, pei ling, sue ee, sis, ling, seng ming and chin suet... lots of fun there... and yee wun,karen,angeline bought me present... really like it.. ~~but would prefer it in pink... hahaha~~
they force me to bring back the noodles and eggs.. (gah!! why me leh??) went to the boutiques... back home around 10 still in my school uniform.. (arghh beh tahan!!) hurry go bath..
then kau tim my NS postponement application dad will be sending it by pos laju tmr coz today(5dec) is the dateline and i'm already late for it... catch the singapore series (family potrait, really nice show!!!!) that i miss ealier... after that here i am on9ing....suppose to learn my korean now.. but i'm so lazy now.. hahaha

Yesterday was the last day of school.
So fast school ended dy.....
I'm sure going to miss my friends and some teachers. I really hope we'll have some reunion to keep in touch in future.
We arrange tables for SPM, clean the table (I didn't clean it I dunno which kind angel in my class helped me clean my table... Thanks, angel!)
It was fun yesterday; we took lots of picture's I'll post it up if I manage to get it. There's a lot of pics in 'Park Shin Yang's blog... hehe my hair is messy there.....
We bought the prom ticket yesterday, the ticket looked pretty cool. Black with shinny silver words.
We even took picture with the tickets (so siao hor)....
The atmosphere in school is like SPM weren't around the corner, everyone's gigling, talking and taking pictures together around the school.
Then around 11am we were allowed to go home... (so early hor!)
Kxin and others ordered pizza and planed to go beng's house. Then I and others go along too. Some kind of tour to ah beng's house (If she charge entry fee she's going to make lots of money yesterday). Jeez... ah beng house really going to make me faint. We went to a living room on the third floor. Everyone (many of us there) gather there have some drinks, fruits and some have pizzas. We talked, joked (poor Hee Boon) and laughed. Then we have a little tour to her room. Then around 1pm we took pictures again and leaved. Really wah, her house!!! I really glad she gave me an opportunity to go her house. Beng thanks for your hospitality lor!! So paiseh leave the unwashed cups there and Beng I think you no need be my beh kia dy, what about the other way round I be your beh kia... hahaha joking!
Really a happy and beautiful day yesterday....
On the way to tuition I was thinking about it and don't really realize I'm smiling till Ling give me a weird look.

Ling: What are you smiling at? Smile till like that. Thinking wat?
Me: Hehe... yameh I smiling meh? Didn't realize... I'm smiling at what happend today la... So fun and nice...
Ling: I think about it too just now.... (forget what she said after that)

But it would be definitely a day when I think back next time I would give a really broad smile... =)

I'm studying and really concentrating my bio (yay!! I'm studying)...
House phone rang...
So I pick up the phone...
I thought it is dad calling but no!! It's a HAMSAP MALAY GUY (not trying to be racist here but the truth is it's a malay guy)...hamsap malay guy---->si musang (se lang/ pervert) and his voice sounds hamsap...

me: Hello!
si musang: mau tidur dengan saya?
me: (irritated) (I pretend as if I can't hear him) Hello?? hello??(loudly)
si musang: hello? hello?
me: Hello? hello? I can't hear you!!(loudly)
si musang: (kinda shocked, maybe he doesn't knoe how to speak engrish) *little silence*erm..... mau romance dgn saya? (WAT DA! u ganti tidur with romance? In school your English teach you the word romance only ar?)

si musang: (feel helpless (I think!) and hang up the phone)

Paiseh ar and really sorry!! I used vulgar words because I can't stand it and really angry because ~~si musang frightens me~~ there is still existence of man whom doesn't respect woman in this era. These men still have the mind set that they can just do anything to a woman to fulfill their personal satisfaction (by rape, molest, etc.) and make some woman out there suffering over what they done for life .This incident made me REALLY realized the importance of implement men in Malaysia especially less educated ones to ~~not frighten a 17 year old girl like me who is concentrating on her upcoming SPM~~ respect woman and also woman to stand for their rights. Some of you might think, `Wei why u so bodoh, hang up the phone la'. I don't why I didn't thought of hanging up the phone but probably because I wanna let that si musang thinks his attempt to harass failed. Any tips/better ways for me and others to pick up if we face this type of incident again or other similar incident, I would really appreciate it. Fuh!! After pouring out here I felt better. =)

Animal lovers all over Malaysia petition for a pro-active government stance on the prevention of cruelty to animals by passing effective and deterrant legislation:

1.Increasing the cruelty fine from RM200 (since 1953) significantly higher to around RM 10,000.00 and increase jail time.
2.A life time ban on animal ownership for those charged with cruelty to animals --- animals therefore cannot be returned to the owners.
3.To urge the public to be responsible pet owners - spay/neuter their pets, adequate food, space, exercise, love and mediacal attention and to be considerate neighbours.

Haha.. my birthday this year is perfect...
I get to celebrate with my friends, coz I thought I won't get to celebrate with my friends at first but the gave me a surprise... ^^
Woon asked me to go Jeth's on Monday night to celebrate Hui Shean's birthday...
Then i jokingly said to her that why celebrate Hui Shean's birthday, what abt my birthday leh?
She just said ya then change to other topic...
So around I went to Jeth around 7pm, Hui Shean, Peh Ling, Sue Ee, Sharmane, Yeoh, VLing, Chin Pey, Chin Suet, Yee Wun & her sister is there....
ordered fish & chip (yum! but chin pey's yee mee looks better... haha) She offered me to try la, but not so nice la to accept it so i decline her offer... hehe... We have casual talk....
Then Sharmane and Peh Ling go get the cake, Peh Ling ask me to sit next to Hui Shean, then I feel little weird... Not celebrate my birthday oso... Why sit there leh...
Then they place the cake between me and Hui Shean, both of us were so blur pushing the cake to each other and say ' No, is celebrate your birthday la...' The others were staring at us and laugh... They sing birthday song to Sally...
Huh? Sally who... Myself and Hui Shean stare at each other... Haha...
Then only we realise we were pranked... Haha...
Kinda surpriselo.... I thought go there is to celebrate Hui Shean birthday...

One day , there’s a guy wondering around a shopping complex called Ocean .. then suddenly he saw a pondan selling herself to an old man for a few bucks for a ride home to her plastic surgery for his ugly face and his boobless body and his overshapped body. The doctor cut his excessive fats first then stop coz it’s too oily till it burst and cannot sew back, so he used elephant-gum and also masking tape. He tried so hard to sew, but can’t sew, so the doctor used his old grandma’s secret that it is none other that used the fat to cover up her scar (wow the method was remarkable) but the scar still there. In desperation, the doctor ran out from the surgery room and go to commit suicide but a bright light shines. He stopped and turned, then he realized that the light is actually spotlight from the corner. He whispered to himself , “ why am I here? Here is definitely not high enough for me to end my life !! So why don’t I climb higher and see ?” He made the thought within a second, and walked down at once. Then within another second , he jumped up and down , trying to feel the world one last time before he meets angels or devils later . Now, he is ready for another try to say goodbye to the world. He whispered, “bye mom, bye dad, chicken rice , wife, ahbeng , vling , cousin , bengsze , taiyilong , yahtyng , Korean pop, kimchi, songs , pondan , love story in Harvard, old man, bus and full house….” Suddenly, something strikes him. “Ah, I forgot to sew back the pondan’s two big scars. So, he ran back to the surgery room and to his surprise, the pondan wasn’t there. But he kap liu wor , so he rush to the toilet. Suddenly , he saw the pondan was pangsaiING there..Wah, what a relief to him as he has done his nature call and found pondan screaming but donno why the pondan was screaming then found out that actually his/her wound still bleeding like the pipe water, oils are flowing out like Nigeria fall. The doctor then approached the pondan, then only he realized that he’s not actually a pondan, he’s just a girl that look like a guy. Guilt haunted him, he knew that he had to be responsible to the “girl”.. then he proposed to her and bowed to his knees, saying “ahpon, would you marry me?” Without a second thought, ahpon hugged the doctor and nodded then said “actually I have a confession to make, I am a real humsup. Tell me the truth, how many children do you wanna have? A football team of children?” Then, there’s a moment of silence, the doctor confess that he wants two football team, can? But I’m mati pucuk , even tongkat ali can’t help , plus waikor also cant help , sei ku cant help either. The only way is to get two football team in his own dream . Therefore, that night itself they went to bed together, have the same dream. The doctor dreamed about him being a football coach and the ahpon was a ahsam that washed toilet in a football stadium….. As he walked closer , tititititi ( alarm clock )… the doctor woke up and realize it’s all a dream after all . Sighed in relief , the ahpon, the suicide, the old man , the football team don’t really exist…Thank god… He said to himself..but I’m still mati pucuk …. Why ????

Its been a long time not blogging...
haha.. lazy ma...
Normal day today...
Kinda unhappy yesterday wit aaron...
Always fong fei kei..
Say wanna take me go buy cd but giving all sort of excuses....
say wanna bring me there today let see how...
i'm sure he wouldn't do as what he say...
last week we had pra exam...
we talk more than doing the 'exam'...
we were just talking about what to do in future...
than ah beng mistaken korean pop for kuay peng(chicken rice)....
then she had this idea, she ask me to go Korea to sell chicken rice in future...
haha funny la she...
from that day i had another new nickname, chicken rice.... other than tai yi long...
this ah beng ar got lots of idea giving people nickname...
then yeoh say i'm ah ming ker(holland village) 2nd wife... what la she... haha
yer... the ah ming ker... always da(beat) lao puo wan...
got tuition later...
gotta go and ready....

Hmm ..
Nice day I had today...
Went to KEC for lunch with Ke Xin, Karen & family..
Karen mum so nice invite me for lunch...
then be a lamp post .. haih~~ Karen ar... kolian me la..
Anyway both of them is really sweet together...
Hehe I hope they 'pak tou to lo'...
Get presents for two kawans..
can't tell which kawan cause mayb one of the kawan might read my blog..
nice bag i saw too.... but expensive ler... ^^"
haiya.. i saw ftts cd but bo lui.. so din buy..
anyway abt yesterday daniel won malaysian idol..
hmm i'm not really surprised la..
he always get top votes wan...
but Nita singing is much better lo..
i voted Nita but no use.....
anyway daniel have lots of impovement lo..
in my opinion, he won i have no bantahan...
but still nita better......

Yay!!!! we will be having BBQ today for mid-autumm festival..

Important subjects just over...
I'm quite relieve(if wrong spelling mind me, lazy to get the dictionary to check) now..
Left some 'okay okay' subjects...
I'm quite dissapointed about teachers bocor'ing the exam question until so indetail...
e.g Paper2-Chemistry...
this tips were given...
p[o]- tiub U Kalium Iodida dan bromin....
esei-eks ester (redox way)
-getah :draw struktur rangkaian sulfur, two ways of doing getah pemvulkunan...
etc.....
These tips is so indetail.. I don't understand why this teachers from other schools bocor'ing the exam questions and really dissapointed...but i'm glad that the questions leak out... haha because it at least lightened some of our burden.....
Anyway I hope to put up a tagboard here... but i had no idea how to move it....
mayb it will be up later....
Tomorrow got school but i'm skipping it...
going to school as usual lessons 6days a week is insane...
have to wake up at 6a.m when you go to bed at 3am for 6 days is crazy...
anyway maybe i'm going next week, to try whats the feeling going to school on Saturday...
I totally agree with what the principle said this morning that our government doesn't plan the holidays nicely ended all of us have to suffer.....
I wonder whether they got put their thinking caps on when they plan the school holidays or they just... "uum, i like this week to be holiday, then that week too.. bla bla bla"
when come to festive days.... Hari Raya, Deepavali, Chinese New Year...
they'll be "haiya, put so many holidays on festive seasons for what, short short enough la not everyone celebrating oso if put so long ar after other races bored to death eh....."
i think this is what they must be thinking while planning the school holidays.....
Watching Love Story in Harvard now in 8tv, kinda nice, essential romantic lessons for guys to learn... even ling likes it.....but i prefer full house its funny and rain is so cute there...

I had a red eye on my left, dunno y..
today i have to go the librarian farewell party... reach jusco at 10...
i waited in front popular to open...
went in popular to search ftts cd..
so happily searching but then after searching thru all the cd's there,
to my horror ftts cd wasn't there anymore..
so i ask the worker there, they say out of stock...
hmm tak sangka people here also listen to their music ..good choice ;)
then i search in other music stores in jusco but don't have...
so i went back to popular to make an order..
Haihzzz i don't knoe when only can get....

then i went the farewell party...
i gave a really short speech coz the more i talk the more those ppl get offended.....
anyway have fun in the farewell party...
i won a mug.... haha~!!!
and i get a special present too.... hehe....
but many people didn't attend and many people left early...

then i when for dinner and i saw merlyn..
wow... she's really different already.. prettier of course..
but we didn't say hi...
then after that went to my new house..
can't wait to shift in...
mic's mom ask us over for night tea(high tea)
then i, ling , mic talk about lots of stuff, till mom and aunts said we talk like we never meet for years....
have a cake drink a nice tea....
then mic suggest to watch 100days with mr.arrogant
we watch it... nice movie... its funny..
after the movie we chat again for a while
and then went back at 1.10am like that..
hmm i can't imagine what time are we sleeping when we shifted there...

n telephone bill is rising high because i been on9ing this few days..
my instincts also tells me that someone is avoiding me...
i dunno why but he looks like don't like me(friend)....

Hai~~~
My hope to go for exchange student had now gone...
What a big disappoinment...
I have been hoping to go since three years ago...
all my wishes when I'm in a temple or my birthday wish for this
3 years had now gone....
but now... nothing can fulfill my hopes....

If I could just turn back time..
Did my even very best, perhaps I might be
shortlisted....
If I could just turn back time...
Prepare myself for the interview.....
If I could just turn back time....
Talk more to the other candidates....
If could just go.....

I think I had put to many hopes in it, in the end i get nothing..
Nothing but just disappoinment and regret.......
Anyways, I now helping my both cousins who were selected.....
How nice would it be three of us selected...
but there's many things to be done and the deadline was 22nd Aug..
and we have our trials, time is really not sufficent...
People out there who were shortlisted but still hestiate,
don't miss this lifetime opportunity although you have to pay but I think
you had paid less than the experience you are going to get...
I guess I didn't get it because it will be expectedly...
Life is always unexpected....

Hmm just recover from a fever this week...
Just cut my hair short on Monday..
Yesterday is a fun night....
We went to wei li's house to give her a surprise birthday party...
Its really funny to ppl's house at 10pm just to surprise someone...

its really fun coz torng yang and yuan hooi cracked lots of jokes...
Now i'm in a cyber cafe coz house line were spoiled for a week ledi..

and now suddenly i was required to do paper work abt the orientation...
Arghhh.... what a group of disturbing teachers.....
Doesn't understand the students burden, still require student to do paper work which the end going to end their(paper works) life in the rubish bin........
just heard from torng yang tht somethin had happend in London...
sounds really terrible....
wat a sad thing.. it is just a few hours after they knew they will be hosting olympics 2012...
anyway gotta go now and finish my stuff...
i guess i'm not sleeping tonight and tommorrow either...

yumm... just finish eating my durian..
its the best durian i ever had, yellow and fleshy...
thanks to dad..
wat a day today, so tired and dumb.
let me start off with :
i when to the kitchen to get a glass of water,
then here comes cousin jack= jack ass in popo's living room,
there sitting a lonely old man (grandpa) with the tv on,
this jack ass walk in like nobody business,
din call my granpa 'gong gong' as if he's invinsible,
go on searching our new home keys...
then i came out from the kitchen.

me: eh y din call gong gong....
jack ass: .....
me: eh call la.... y din call gong gong...
jack ass: .....
turn 's his depressed face to grandpa and muttered gong gong with an unwilling tone.
jack ass: where's the new house key? (with a really sad tone)
me: oh, its at the new house there (delightly)

then he walks off to his dad's car...
and i sat on the couch and watch telly with grandpa...
then here comes his dad=another clone of jack ass....
i dunno wat to name him yet so suggestions please!! but i just call him JAD(jack ass dad) now ...
i was wondering why JAD is here as jack ass knows where's the key...
then he look in and out as if searching for something.. and he saws me...
but don't dare to approach me (wat a chicken)
then i don't bother about him, i go on watching telly...
he didn't even say hello to his own dad(grandpa).....
then the drama end then i was about to go the new house to helps others,
I walk pass by JAD, then

JAD: eh wat u say to ah boy just now? (in a angry tone)
me: oh i said the keys were in the new house
JAD: no other than telling the keys were in the new house wat else u tell him?
me: oh i just ask him to call gong gong.
JAD: u no need to teach my son ar..... don't intefere my family business...
U ALL like to intefere my family business...
(like ppl love to intefere his family business)
me: Sorry....
JAD: (the similar things he said just now, keep repeating)
me: sorry for intefering ur family business... I wouldn't even do tht next time...
JAD: (same things he said, not creative at all)
me: i din force him to call granpa, i din use the knive, its up to him wether
his wants to call a not after i tell him.
JAD: (hmm as usual blabla repeat the same stuff)
me: SO,?
JAD: (he have nth to say , went out and close the door)
*ps conversation above were all in high tone......

I went upstairs and slam the door... then he came in again to the living room and
shout at my grandma like a mad dog saying that his son knows how to call grandpa
and no one should teach his son... then he went off to no where(he suppose to go his new
house but i guess he's small hearted)
Then my cousins in the room asking y... n then i cried(hehe yes i did) and tell them wat
happend..
haha guess wat even my 8 year old cousin thinks he's crazy.....
In fact everybody thinks he's crazy....
We went down told my grandma wat actually happend...

Summary after this incident:

JAD-This small hearted and stuffed with a 3year old brain man
will not going to gain my respect as he does not respect his parents.
He is going to regret someday about his son.
A dumb man till he needs to listen wateva his son says.
He doesn't belong to this democratic country, he should belong to a old coummunist like country.
He should be there not here.
chicken, so afraid to scold me in front of grandpa.
Doesn't looks like he's 48, looks like 3. A laugh to him is a sin.
A joke to him is like a curse.
Can't get along with people but still wanna squeeze in the middle of 7 houses.
So selfish till his wife can't wash a little floor of their neighbour's.
finally founds an adult with a kiddo brain.

Jack Ass-Thinks he's top of the world, everyone out there have to respect him.
He thinks he drives a benz and wears gucci but NAH...
he don't drive plus he always wears pokemon t-shirts.
He thinks he's a datuk or someone great in the family..
NAH he's just a jack ass in our family.
Frowns is wat u can see in his faces,
but when there's ji pe leh his smile is unusual long and his tone is so nice till u
think he should join malaysian idol.
Reporting to his dad is only what he knows.
A 12 year old kid?NAH sounds 3 also to me. A laugh to him is a sin, a joke to his is a curse.

JAD and jack ass- they both should just switch status. finally i understand whats like father like son.

Anyway everyone says he just wanna lepas geram on me about fetching michele stuff..
then i go on my day with ice-cream, mi segera, A&W... haha yummm..
we clean the houses again and...
the number strikes again.. haha..
I think thats all about me today...
and oh ya ...

Haha I have nothing to write about myself therefore
I'm writing some info about Kimchi today..

I think some of you might not know what's kimchi therefore,

I searched some Kimchi information from the official site of National Korea Tourism.

That website is infomative. Hm I hope Malaysia will have one someday.

Origin of Kimchi :Since human beings began cultivating, they have enjoyed vegetables, which are rich in vitamins and minerals. However, the cold winter,when cultivation was practically unavailable, led naturally to the development of a storage method- pickling. As a kind of pickled vegetables, kimchi was born in Korea around the 7th century
Use of Hot Red Pepper Powder:At the earliest stage, kimchi was just salted vegetable, but during the 12th century they saw the appearance of a new type of kimchi with some spices and seasonings, and in the 18th century, hot red pepper finally became one of the major spices for kimchi. In particular, thanks to the introduction of cabbages in the 19th century, they witnessed the same type of kimchi as we know it today.
The Origin of the Name, Kimchi:It is suspected that the name kimchi originated from shimchae (salting of vegetable) which went through some phonetic changes: shimchae - dimchae - kimchae - kimchi.
Modern Kimchi:Kimchi has been scientifically proved to be highly nutritious and recommended as a future food by many nutritionists at home and abroad. So the export of kimchi to foreign countries is rapidly increasing. Korean immigrants to China, Russia, Hawaii and Japan first introduced kimchi abroad, and have continued to eat kimchi as a side dish. It gradually gained popularity even among foreigners. dark celebration

Yesterday is a real tiring day for me.
We cleaned the houses, stick the plastics on the wall(all bcoz of da damn contractor)
really tiring...
We finish cleaning at around seven something..
All of us went back to popo house..
I go and get a bath...
Have some char mee....
Then go on waiting for the sate and durian in the kitchen...
We were just chattin at the back wondering when the sate'll be back....
Suddenly the light goes off....
And tht time the sate is back..... haha...
Uncle steven go and get torchlights and candles from his home..
We have to have our sate in the dark..
the durian in the dark..
the mangosteen in the dark...
the coke with ice in the dark...
the rasberry cheesecake in the dark....
sang happy father's day song for gong gong in the dark...
took pictures in the dark...
then all of us are about to go home...
while i was asking aunt angie wether she wants to sleep over,
as there is so many mosquitoes and the weather is so hot...
the lights go on again..
haha all of us give a big laugh...
then all of us went back...
Its a nice dark celebration ought to remember...

Its just a odinary day today...
Its my friend, Sharmane birthday...
Happie birthday gal!
I overnight my grandma's house yesterday, and woke up at 10.30am today...
Have a nice breakfast with my grandma, aunt and cousin michele.....
I had a dumpling (mmm.... but nearly finish the one and only dumpling
my aunt bought for herself, in the end I shared with her)
Then we talked about how my grandma brought all of us up...
At that time I really admire and thankful my grandma,
she took care 2 babies(me and my 11days older cousin) at a time...
I really lurve her... We decided where to have dinner this Saturday,
and guess what we'll going to have Japanese food....
Yay!!!! Can't wait...
I went upstairs to my sleepy cousin to ask wether he
can give me and Ling a lift to tuition....
and he turn down my request (sighs*)..
Me and Ling decide to replace tuition some other day....
Then its about noon, my aunt and grandma cook the lunch for the
3 mini guys (they're known as mini guys coz they're were the 3 youngest
member in our family who never leaves their xp gameboys where ever they goes)
me and my cousins help out...
Its so hot out there till my aunt needs Michele to get an umbrella to
shade her from the sun...
I realise how difficult our grandma's maid,
Amy is had to stand outside there preparing everybody's meal......
After prepaing the meal, me play a little music, and
Masa sing's... His voice were so cute and I recorded his voice down..
He actually figured out we recorded his voice while he's singing..
but we manage to convince him that we're not....
After the mini guys have their lunch,
I had mine with my cousins and aunt Angie too.....
Then we started talking about the hot weather out there,
we hope that there's an ice-cream man pass-by....
After hoping and waiting the man to passby for so long,
Michele went to ask Alfred wether he can fetch us to get ice-cream,
amazingly he said yes.....
Then off we went to the nearest petrol station...
I chosed Wall's Solero Shots..
Then went back to my grandma house and enjoy the ice-cream in the kitchen..
So we finish our ice-cream, and had a glass of Coke...
Really chilled me out...
Then I went upstairs and asked Ling to teach me the taeguk's..
I keep practising but can't get it all right and ended up answering a cloze passage..
In the evening, my grandma asked me and Michele to go to the new house to help out
aunt Angie..
We walked there with the mini guy's as there wanted to ask my aunt's permission
to go to the playground and play...
So me and Michele stood there doing nothing,
then we were asked to get a chair from my grandma's house,
and off we went and back with a chair..
Then Michele water the half dead grasses,
and I check out the mail's in the mailbox..
I was tired and went back to grandma's house and had a nice nap..
I woke up at 7.40pm and go down for dinner..
Then Michele's mum is here to pick us up back home..........

Wow I didn't know that my ordinary day was that long...
Hmmm it's a ordinary day but nice moments to remember!!!!

This is my first time posting a blog...
A BLOG.... hmm i never tought of getting one..
Anyway I finally got one....
